Ukraine has conducted a drone strike against an oil refinery in Russia’s Tyumen region, which is situated more than 1,200 miles from the Ukrainian border, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Reports from The Mirror indicate that these strikes target infrastructure providing financial support for Moscow’s military operations.
According to NDTV, the refinery is located approximately 2,000 kilometres inside Russian territory. This strike follows other drone attacks on oil facilities within Russia earlier this week, including a site near Moscow. These actions are part of an ongoing effort to impact energy infrastructure that provides logistics and funding for the Russian military.
