Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray, prominent rivals in Maharashtra politics, were reported to have shared a common flight from Mumbai to Nagpur on June 26. According to reporting by the Times of India, the two leaders exchanged brief pleasantries during the journey.
The trip was part of an organized three-day tour of the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions for Uddhav Thackeray. He was accompanied on this route by his son, Aaditya, and Sanjay Raut. The primary objective of the visit was to engage with party workers in constituencies that had been held by rebel members.
Officials from both political camps described the occurrence as a coincidence on a standard service flight. While the two men lead opposing factions in the state, there were no reports of a prearranged meeting or coordinated interaction between them during the travel.
